What is Remapping?
Remapping allows us to unlock your vehicles’ full potential whether your aim is performance, economy, or a blend of both. Unlike most garages, R&B Automotive does not offer a generic “one size fits all” remap.
We appreciate that no two vehicles are the same. That’s why every remap we programme is tailored to your engine. Our state-of-the-art remapping tools guarantee you’ll benefit from greater horsepower, increased acceleration, and improved fuel economy for both diesel and petrol engines. All these factors contribute towards an all-around improved driving experience.
The process itself usually takes around an hour to two hours to complete. We are fully aware of each engine’s limits and never push it beyond what it is capable of handling. As we only write custom maps, derived from the original manufacturer map, it is virtually undetectable by the dealer should you ever take your vehicle in to be serviced, or for warranty work.
